About us

The singers in the group bring a variety of musical influences with them. Some have classical training; others have experience as leads in light opera and Broadway musicals; several perform as soloists or in blues and jazz groups of their own. This allows for a diversity of vocal styles as well as repertoire, which is highlighted in quartets and quintets.

Recent concerts have included music by William Byrd and Thomas Morley, the King's Singers, American composers Eric Whitacre and Morten Lauridsen, the Beatles and Beau Dommage.

Additionally, the ensemble takes pride in its repertoire of Canadian choral composers and arrangers such as Stephen Hatfield, Donald Patriquin, Eleanor Daley, Debbie Fleming, Lionel Daunais and Marie Bernard.

In a departure from their a cappella roots, they have also presented several works from the classical repertoire in collaboration with the Montreal Chamber Orchestra.
